Summon Dummies ============== There is no sense to get weapons and have no one to fire at. Ok, you can summon a dummy. Or how many you want. Atention, summon commands are case sensitive. To create some basic dummies for target practice, open the console and type "summon agp_characters.NPC_Soldier". That will create an opfor soldier who stands with his arms outstretched. You can shoot him and he won't move or fight back. If you want a bit more of a challenge, open the console and type "walk". This will animate the dummy... he will start to move and shoot back. Be careful as although the dummy has only basic artifical intelligence he can be fairly accurate! You can also summon other NPCs (Non-Player characters), but most will not shoot at you when you type "walk"...they have no weapons. The other possible NPCs can be created by the following commands: summon agp_characters.NPC_AirborneInstructor summon agp_characters.NPC_AirborneSoldier summon agp_characters.NPC_Ambient summon agp_characters.NPC_Civilian summon agp_characters.NPC_Doctor summon agp_characters.NPC_DrillInstructor summon agp_characters.NPC_FlightCrew summon agp_characters.NPC_Nurse summon agp_characters.NPC_Student summon agp_characters.NPC_TowerObserver summon agp_characters.NPC_TowerObserverFemale summon agp_characters.NPC_VirtualGeorge Summon Stuff ============= If you want to summon up weapons and ammo to use for yourself (they appear on the ground in front of you), try these commands in the console: for Weapons: summon agp_inventory.PickupW_M16A2_Rifle summon agp_inventory.PickupW_M4A1_Auto_Rifle summon agp_inventory.PickupW_M203_Gren summon agp_inventory.PickupW_M249_SAW summon agp_inventory.PickupW_M24_Sniper summon agp_inventory.PickupW_M82_Sniper summon agp_inventory.PickupW_M870_shotgun summon agp_inventory.PickupW_AT4_Rocket summon agp_inventory.PickupW_AK47_Rifle summon agp_inventory.PickupW_AK74SU_Rifle summon agp_inventory.PickupW_GP30_Gren summon agp_inventory.PickupW_RPK_SAW summon agp_inventory.PickupW_MosinNagant_Sniper summon agp_inventory.PickupW_SVD_Sniper summon agp_inventory.PickupW_RPG7_rocket for Ammo: summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_12gauge_7_rounds summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_30mm_1_Gren summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_40mm_1_Gren summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_127mm_10_Mag summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_127mm_200_Mag summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_556mm_20_Mag summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_556mm_30_Mag summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_556mm_200_Belt summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_762mm_5_Rounds summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_762mm_30_Mag summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_762mm_100_Drum summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_RPG7_PG7B summon agp_inventory.PickupAmmo_RPG7_PG7VR for Grenades summon agp_inventory.PickupT_M67_Frag summon agp_inventory.PickupT_M83_Smoke summon agp_inventory.PickupT_M84_Stun summon agp_inventory.PickupT_M14_Incendiary M4A1 Modified. How to make it work =================================== That's the easiest way I could make it work and you don't have to type endless console commands. Be carefull and remember to backup you original files. Modify your WeaponMods.ini file -Located at your \Army Operations\System folder. -It should read as following: [WeaponMods] CurrentWeapon=AGP_Inventory.Weapon_M4A1_Rifle_Mod Create your Modfile -Instead of long and endless console typing, create a file with the commands that will modify the M4A1. -Open notepad to create the file. -it should read as following: setmod 0 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_Anpvs10_Sight setmod 1 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_HeatShield setmod 2 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_anpeq5_laser setmod 3 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_VliFlashLight setmod 4 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_M203_Gren setmod 5 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_m4qd_suppressor class M4M - Save the file in \Army Operations\System folder and name it something like "MyMod.txt" - Now , follow steps 1 and 2 and open the console and type "exec Mymod.txt" Now you have your own customized M4A1! You can change or create other mod files for other types of modification. Each setmod command inside the file will setup the modfication slot refering to it. Modify the line with one of the following: setmod 0 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_Ironsight - default AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_Acog4x AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_Anpvs10_Sight AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_M68_AimPoint setmod 1 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_HeatShield - default AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_Reflex setmod 2 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_HeatShield - default AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_Anpeq5_Laser AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_VliFlashLight setmod 3 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_HeatShield - default AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_Anpeq5_Laser AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_VliFlashLight setmod 4 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_HeatShield - default AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_Harris_Bipod AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_M203_Gren setmod 5 AGP_Inventory.WeaponMod_M4qd_Suppressor And after create or modify the file, save it and execute it again at the game console. Hint: You don't need to close and open AAO again to modify the file. Press ALT+TAB to go back to Windows Desktop and with Notepad edit the file, save it, return to the game and execute it. open the console and type "suppressor" to toggle the suppressor on and off. Advanced information about Mod M4A1 in a multiplayer Cheat enabled server ========================================================================== By DavidCR125. Mods only work on some slots, like the M203 and the Harris Bipod work on slot 4 and no other slot, i think that slot is basically the rail it is on. In the game you type SetIndex where is an index to use that set of mods, then type mpcheat changeclass m4m to get the modified m4. You type suppressor to toggle the suppressor on and off. The laser and flashlight are probably activated by typeing leftrail and rightrail, but i don't think the code has been added for them yet because they do nothing. Another cool thing is that they work on cheat servers too, so you can play online with modified m4's. I forgot to mention that as far as i can tell slots only go from Slot_0 to Slot_5. For more information on the commands that can be used in offline mode see the Official America's Army Manual. Remember, there's nothing wrong with being new online and your teammates should take this into account and cut you a break, but you also have to put in some effort to learn the maps and gameplay as much as possible beforehand to maximise your (and others) enjoyment.
